AlwaysON listed 27th in Tech Track 100
READING, UK - 26th September, 2006. AlwaysON, a leading provider of managed IP communications services, has been listed at number 27 in The Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 (published 24 September 2006).

AlwaysON operates a next-generation network over which it delivers private and secure VPNs (virtual private networks), business-class hosted IP telephony service (the UK’s first) and managed applications. Customers benefit from the flexibility of AlwaysON’s services that are also easy to administer, with applications ranging from home working and high speed data transmission, to sophisticated call handling.
Founder George Zaremba established AlwaysON in 2000, and two years later merged it with a company he had led since 1990 to form the AlwaysOn Group. The Reading-based company targets the government, construction and retail sectors amongst others. All this helped to push up sales 101% a year from £763,000 in 2003 to an annualised £3.1m in 2005, when Foresight Ventures invested £1.5m for a 25% stake.
"To be listed at 27 ahead of so many respected companies is an incredible achievement at this stage of our development", said George Zaremba, CEO, AlwaysON. "Our early investment in a next-generation network, together with the experience gained delivering business-class hosted IP telephony services, have given us a massive business advantage, which this listing clearly highlights. We are perfectly positioned to meet new business needs as the market continues to develop."
