The OFFICE licence provides the user with telephony functionality that is completely integrated with their Microsoft Windows desktop and Office applications, in addition to the common user features that are available to all licence types.
Full call-control is embedded within Outlook, Office applications or the Windows Task Bar, to provide a look and feel that is familiar to any Microsoft Windows user. This reduces the learning curve to a minimum so that users can benefit rapidly from the enhanced productivity capabilities of the Contact Centre service.
The custom Agent toolbar, used by the ACD licence users, is unfied with Windows and this has the advantage of eliminating the need for a separate logon process. Logon to Windows automatically logs the user on to the Contact Centre Service.
The Company Directory is no longer separate from Outlook and contacts within Outlook can be invoked from the user's pc.
